Dream a Dream: Changing the Script

Communication strategy and web design for a narrative of social transformation

Dream a Dream is an India-based organization that empowers young people from vulnerable backgrounds to develop creative life skills, enabling them to thrive in a world in crisis. In collaboration with Seventh Inc., we took on the challenge of redesigning their digital platform with a clear premise: moving away from the traditional “charity institution” aesthetic to position it as a vibrant and bold social movement.

Design as a Movement Catalyst

Our work focused on visually translating the new communication strategy. We delved into the “Changing the Script” concept through organic strokes, an energetic color palette, and a playful treatment of imagery. We structured the navigation along two strategic axes: highlighting the urgency of integrating life skills into education and building trust to attract donors and volunteers.

Transparency was paramount. We designed clear data visualizations and infographics to ensure institutional accountability, allowing users to immediately grasp the real impact of every contribution.

Stories of Change

Consistent with a biocentric approach that celebrates each young person’s singularity, personal stories of transformation were given a central role in the design. We developed specific sections where participants’ testimonials and progress are highlighted, humanizing the data and turning the site into a space for inspiration. The result is a platform that doesn’t judge or label dreams but empowers them, projecting a fresh and positive image that brings the cause to life in the digital environment.

“You have truly transformed brand ‘Dream A Dream’ with your work. We wanted to look bold, unapologetic, fresh and happy. You have made us look all this and more. The new website is a delight and we have been receiving amazing feedback for the same. People have said that it looks fresh; energetic; Makes the cause come alive; So happy to see a beautiful, inspiring, happy website.”
